Young and the Restless spoilers leave viewers on the edge of their seats as Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) escalate their relationship. However, suspicions are rising that Cane may have an ulterior motive. Phyllis, usually known for her cunning and manipulative ways, appears to be falling hard for Cane, unaware that she might be walking into a trap.

Y&R spoilers divulge that Cane's intentions are called into question as he appears to be using his relationship with Phyllis as a cover for his real agenda. He is spotted trying to access Phyllis's computer, immediately after their intimate moments, raising doubts about his sincerity towards her. Despite his convincing acts of affection, the underlying tension suggests that Cane might be seeking revenge for Phyllis's betrayal - stealing his AI and handing it over to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).

Spoilers for Young and Restless hint that Victor, using the stolen AI against Cane’s company, Arabesque, adds fuel to Cane's motivation for retribution. Cane’s confession to Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) about his angle against Phyllis hints at his master plan of using Phyllis to retrieve his AI and save his company. This, he hopes, would not only make him a hero in Lily's eyes but also give him a chance to get back at Phyllis.

More Y&R spoilers reveal that Cane's ultimate desire is to win back Lily, his long-time love. The question remains, will Cane's plan of revenge against Phyllis and his quest to win Lily back succeed? Or will he become the victim of Phyllis's wrath when she discovers his deceit?
